Seven

Our amazing Eloette Assunta Lettie Sue Lue girl turned seven this Saturday. I say it every year with whatever age they are turning but I still can’t believe she is seven. We had a wonderful morning at a Kitty Cafe and then came home to have a cozy and snowy celebration. This year Lue wanted a panda party. I made her a little panda set that included a piece of bamboo for each of her pandas to snack on. I have yet to finish the little playmat that will eventually complete the set. Her crown was inspired by her love of pandas and tea! I think it is one of my favorite crowns yet! I included a few process photos. It got me thinking that I might start trying to blog more with work in progress photos. I am usually working very late at night with poor lighting so I think that is why I haven’t been motivated or inspired to do so. As always her treasures were made with wool felt and hand sewn and embroidered. The little pandas are stuffed lightly with warm wool.
